This article presents the results of implementing
a training methodology for 8-9-year-old aerobics athletes. This
methodology focuses on teaching technical actions considering
the conjugate development of physical abilities. The content
of the methodology comprises exercises from the competitive
program for the 9-11-year-old age category, organized into five
groups with sequential mastery. Initially, basic exercises (BE)
are learned, followed by profiling exercises (PE). These groups
are: “Aerobic Movement Combinations”: BE – basic steps and
their combinations; PE – complexly coordinated movement
combinations. “Difficulty Elements”: BE – compulsory elements;
PE – elements of advanced difficulty, and then elements
of maximum difficulty for the athlete, and their combination into
a 2 or 3-element routine. “Acrobatic Elements”: BE – basic acrobatic elements and their variations; PE – acrobatic elements
of advanced difficulty, their variations, and combinations
both with each other and with difficulty elements. “Transitions
and Connections”: BE – basic transitions and connections;
PE – transitions and connections with variations. “Partnerships
and Collaborations”: BE – partnerships, then complex partnerships
and basic collaborations; PE – complex collaborations.
The volume and ratio of BE and PE within the training session
structure are determined by the level of technical preparedness
and the stage within the academic year. The implementation
of the developed methodology throughout the academic year
allows all girls to meet and exceed the physical fitness standards
for the training stage of the first year of study and the
age-specific coordination preparedness standards. Following
competitions, eight aerobics athletes were awarded the III adult
rank, and one athlete reconfirmed it. Furthermore, at competitions
of various levels, all aerobics athletes received scores
above 14-16 points, which corresponds to III-I adult categories. |
