The article is devoted to solving the problem of effective employment of graduates in pedagogical training areas, caused by the weak involvement of employers in the educational process and the growing demands of the labor market for the quality of practical training. The aim of the research is to develop and test a model for organizing the training of future teachers that ensures their successful employment in educational institutions of Sevastopol. The empirical base consisted of data from content analysis, a survey of 127 students and 42 employer representatives, as well as the results of monitoring graduate employment for 2021-2024. The longitudinal study used quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods. Using the example of the Department of Didactics, Teaching Methods and Technologies of Sevastopol State University, a comprehensive model of integration with employers was analyzed and tested, including seven key areas of interaction: targeted training, independent competence assessment, employer participation in the implementation of educational programs, organization of internships, introduction of innovative methods, employment, and postgraduate support. Unique cooperation formats were developed and implemented: the Turnkey School project, joint scientific and practical events, and the Sevastopol Teacher digital platform. It has been proven that the implementation of the model ensures 100% employment of graduates, 87% of whom continue to work in the profession after 3 years, and 42% show career growth within the first 2 years. The results are of practical importance for regional teacher education systems and confirm that systemic integration with employers through the implementation of a comprehensive interaction model significantly increases the effectiveness of employment and professional adaptation of graduates.
