This study focuses on the sustainable need to consider a new and relevant product-oriented learning approach in modern higher professional education, which combines the pedagogical goal of creating student readiness for professional activity and taking into account the objective needs of the market, which is under constant transitive changes. The strategic timeliness of the product approach is emphasized in the current business concept, when society needs not just qualified specialists, but people who will strengthen the team able to cooperate and adapt to rapidly changing conditions. The paper analyzes a number of classical pedagogical approaches such as system-activity and competence-based, offering stable prerequisites for the accumulation of ideological understanding and discussion initiation of the product approach in the training of students. The optimal features of practiceoriented training, theoretically closely related to the productoriented learning approach, are considered, however, indicating the need to develop a solid vision of the product-oriented approach and its clearer formulas. The paper intensifies the differences between the guidelines of the product-oriented approach and practice-oriented training, offers the author’s analysis of relationships and discrepancies. The author of the study intersects the essential meanings of the product-oriented approach, proposes the principles of implementing this approach in education and fixes its main meaning-forming elements. The study outlines conceptual ways to implement a product-oriented approach in the context of the development of scientific activities on the basis of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Moscow) and the educational activities of the Central University (T-Bank, Moscow). The prospects of the product-oriented learning approach as a special methodological direction with a tendency to further study are noted. |
