The proposed article reveals the vision of various
domestic and foreign authors of the concept of reflexive education
as a pedagogical teaching based on a conscious analysis and
understanding of the pupil’s actions, emotions, values and their
consequences. This approach is based not just on the transfer
of ready-made behaviors and norms from an adult to a child, but
on a joint analysis of life situations, actions and their consequences.
Reflexive education is a responsible and adequate response
of pedagogy and society to the complexity, uncertainty and openness
of the modern world. The main personality gains in reflexive
education are the fundamental result that transforms a person
from an object of influence into a subject of his own life. This is
not just a set of knowledge, but deep inner qualities (competences)
that remain with a person for life. Based on a theoretical analysis
of the works of foreign and domestic scientists, the author
identifies and formulates trends in the development of reflexive
education at the present stage, which are united by one global
goal — to educate not a convenient, but a conscious person,
a person who is able to understand himself and others, think critically,
act responsibly in a rapidly changing complex world and
continuously learn from his own experience. The content of the
highlighted trends is revealed. More attention is paid to the works,
models and methods of reflexive education presented by foreign
researchers, because their work is not sufficiently represented
in the domestic source database. Based on the theoretical analysis
carried out, the article identifies the social risks characteristic
of the process of reflexive education, and suggests measures
to minimize them in modern conditions of pupils’ socialization. |
