THE STATE AND TRENDS OF MELON - GROWING DEVELOPMENT IN V OLGOGRAD REGION

| Annotation: | The article has reflected a current state of development of water-melons growing in Volgograd region during 2000–2010; the index analysis of total gathering of water-melons in all categories of economy and personal economy of population has been performed; the tendency of growth of productivity of the given culture for the short-term prospect gas been revealed; the indicators of economic efficiency of manufacturing and selling of melons and gourds in the period under consideration have been calculated. The article has demonstrated the ratio of watermelons on irrigated and dry farming lands of Volgograd region, as well as distribution of manufacturing of commodity output in the districts of the region that indicates the urgency of performance of scientific researches. |
