Informational and communicative potential of the local self-government (on the example of administration of volzhsky city of volgograd region)

The article presents the analysis of the information and communicative potential of the local self-government. In modern conditions, the pledge of successful activities of the authorities is the effective use of the available information and communicative potential, which implementation tool is the information policy. The author examines the degree of development of information and communicative potential on the example of executive body of the Volzhsky city of Volgograd region. Based on the provided results of the sociological research, the author concluded about the effectiveness of the information policy of Volzhsky city and presented recommendations for its development.
