FACTOR ANALYSIS OF MODEL ELEMENTS OF ECONOMIC SECURITY OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

The article examines the issues of economic security of the higher school as a component of economic security of the state. Elements of economic security of higher school are analyzed: economic independence, stability and sustainability, ability to self-development and progress. Empirical indicators of components of economic security are defined. Components of economic security are compared by means of the factorial analysis, and their relations in each of the educational institutions are specified. Three factors, inside which indicators correlate with each other, are identified. The model of economic safety of higher school is described based on empirical data that consists of three components: applied scientific and associated activities; educational activity; fundamental-innovation activity.
