GROWTH OF THE WEALTH OF THE VOLGOGRAD REGION IN 2010-2014: THE MAIN TRENDS

| Annotation: | The growth of the regional national wellbeing of Volgograd region is calculated in the article based on the adaptive methodology developed by M. V. Ledeneva for the main directions: production capital, human capital, natural capital, environmental quality; and the main trends are identified. Based on calculation of integral indicators, the conclusions were made regarding reduction of production capital, insignificant reduction of the natural capital, improvement of the natural environmental quality, and the increase of the human capital. The main problems were detected, including: depreciation of fixed assets, reduction of population, reduction of the healthcare availability, significant growth of disease rate of the blood circulation system; and low quality of the atmospheric air. |
