DEVELOPMENT OF THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES PARK BASED ON THE FAR EAST FEDERAL UNIVERSITY AS ONE OF THE PROSPECT WAYS OF CREATING THE FAR EAST IMAGE

The subject of the article is Far East region image. The article states the difficulty of the Far East region image creation. The author sees the cause of it in the fact that the Far East has very stable stereotype as an unmastered territory. The research goal is to find the ways to change the notion of the Far East in public consciousness. This goal is to be achieved with the help of modern IT-park creation on a platform of the Far East Federal University. This measure will help to attract young people to the region and to give them permanent workplaces. The region will gain the image of progressive high-tech territory. The author affirms that complex marketing strategy of the Far East image promotion is waiting to be elaborated. The center for regional product promotion has to be established — it is the main conclusion of the article.
