Annotation:

This article is devoted to consideration of the issues related to definition of the concept, legal nature and peculiarities of implementation of the civil action in the criminal process. The author considers the peculiarities of this legal structure, defines a civil action in the criminal process as a specific integrated interdisciplinary sub-institution, operating at the intersection of criminal and civil processes. The author says about the status of civil plaintiff and civil defendant, their representatives, the Prosecutor, the rights and obligations of such persons; explores procedural issues related to the submission and implementation of the civil action in the criminal process.
