Annotation:

The article investigates the criteria by which the property items are classified. Property classification notion can be defined as the ordering of diversity of real estate items by their types according to the similarity or difference in compliance with the selected characteristics and methods. Thanks to categorization, the process of real estate examination becomes much clearer, which makes it easier to identify internal patterns that are the defining moment in changing consumer and market features of the real estate. When classifying real estate items, their different properties are used as criteria: natural, physical characteristics, purpose, and social significance. Giving things this or that value often depends on the legislator. Although seemingly simple classification of certain real estate items to one or another classification, there are distinctive criteria for determining the legal nature of the real estate items in different literature.
