INTERACTION BETWEEN THE INVESTIGATOR, THE OPERATIVE WORKER AND THE CRIMINAL EXPERT IN SOLVING AND INVESTIGATION OF CRIMES ASSOCIATED WITH ILLEGAL TRAFFICKING OF DRUGS

Annotation:

The article is devoted to the consideration of the form of interaction of the investigator, operative and forensic expert in solving and investigation of crimes related to drug trafficking. Various approaches to the definition of interaction are analyzed. The necessity of scientific development of this direction and strengthening of the forms of interaction of law enforcement officers in the area of fight against drug crime is established. Since today this type of crime is not eliminated, the fight against drug trafficking is ongoing. The forces and means of various organizations are directed to solving, investigation and prevention of crime in the field of drug trafficking. However, the fight against crime in this area by one unit is impossible. This requires a set of measures, for which it is certainly necessary to send forces, funds, skills and abilities of various units. Moreover, it is worth noting that only the coordinated work of the investigator, operative and forensic expert contributes to the success of the results of the solving and investigation of crimes. In a broad sense, interaction is a coordinated activity of law enforcement, regulatory, as well as other state and non-state bodies and officials aimed at identifying, investigating and solving crimes with an accessible ratio of powers, means and methods defined by law for all subjects of this activity. Scientists have made various claims about the benefits of using the capabilities of the investigative task force in the solution. Examination of the judicial and investigative practice and the points of view of forensic scientists allows speaking about advantages of using the crime scene investigation team in the cases of illegal drug trafficing among which: increasing of personal responsibility for actions performed collectively and solely, coordination of activities of the group members, time-saving, reduction of the time of fulfillment of separate tasks and instructions of managers, successful use of the forces and tools, effective overcoming of resistance to investigation.
