Digital technologies are present in many aspects of our lives, but most often they raise discussions in the field of education. The problems of education lie in the space of goals and values. Digital technologies, which have been actively introduced recently, are of concern to the teaching community. On one hand digital technologies provide new opportunities, on the other hand the information consumed becomes uncontrollable and does not provide obvious benefits for the development of a prosperous society. The problem of digital education is considered from several viewpoints: philosophical, axiological, and technological. Educational tasks in the field of art are linked to general problems of digital education. One of them is the role of the teacher as an organizer of the educational process and a public intellectual, as well as a user and creator of visual content. The design of education, its organization, and its consequences must be understood by society and be directed towards democratic and human values. One of the challenges facing modern education is developing certain high-quality content, including videos. Another problem of digital education in the field of art is the justification of forms and conditions of interaction between students and teachers in the digital space and its relation to the live creative process. This article is an attempt to highlight some of the problems associated with the introduction of digital education, including those in the subject area “Art”.
