The article deals with the sphere of culture of the peoples living in the Republic of Crimea. Living in a multi-ethnic land goes far beyond communication. Social culture and etiquette are the tools without which the life of any ethnic group is impossible, especially given the fact that 125 different peoples live on a small territory. If one or another nation doesn’t learn to interact with each other, doesn’t teach their children the norms of behavior and respect, the achievement of the highest social values can be questioned. In the process of introducing a modern person to the values and experience accumulated by previous generations, we join the ethnic origins; learn to respect the etiquette and traditions that have developed in the centuries-old culture. Educating a comprehensively developed personality, it is necessary first of all to focus on the development of cultural and ethnic characteristics of the students, the disclosure of their belonging in modern society, as well as the formation of socially and personally significant qualities in them. The whole process of education is currently aimed at the formation of civic responsibility and legal self-awareness, spirituality and culture, initiative, independence and tolerance, the student’s ability to successfully socialize in society and adapt in a multinational environment. Familiarization with the cultural origins of ethnic groups includes the development of the ability to scientifically process phenomena and facts related to both the student’s personality (their consciousness, behavior) and the educational process as a whole, promotes flexibility of thinking, vigilance in seeing problems and paradoxes. That is why in this article we consider, as an example, some of the communicative traditions of the inhabitants of the Republic of Crimea.
