DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE MANAGEMENT OF A MEDICAL INSTITUTION

Digital technology is now one of the priority areas of health development. In the context of global informatization and the development of the digital economy, digitalization can ensure the availability and decent quality of services provided without increasing health costs. The purpose of the present work is to study informatization processes affecting the socio-economic sphere, in particular, the health system, in general, and the management of a medical institution, in particular. The object of the study is medical institutions in the health sector, and the subject of the study is information and digital technologies used in management practice. The article discusses the basic prerequisites for the use of information and digital technology in the management of medical institutions; defines the target features of management activities, its basic areas and a set of information and digital technology, the most in demand and effective in terms of flexibility, efficiency, patient centricity and data centricity to implement preventive, predictive, patient-centered, personified health care. The work emphasized the role of the use of applied information and digital technologies in healthcare institutions on the example of the Belgorod region, which was one of the five leaders in the rating results. The results of the study from scientific and methodological approaches will summarize the need to use traditional and new digitalization tools in the management of medical institutions, which, in turn, according to the experience of Belgorod doctors, make it possible to solve more effectively problems exacerbated, in particular, during the pandemic period. Digital technology and the digitalization of medicine is now a real effective tool allowing to function more efficiently and effectively.
