FORMATION OF DIGITAL COMPETENCES OF FUTURE BACHELORS IN PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS

Annotation:

The authors attempt to study the content of federal state standards on the profiles “Physics”, “Mathematics” and a number of areas closely related to the teaching of physical and mathematical disciplines at school, in order to disclose the requirements for the development of digital competences as an important component of the future graduates’ professionalism. Based on the results of studying the content of educational standards, the authors come to the conclusion that despite the fact that it does not present an exhaustive idea of digital competences, the federal state educational standard orients educational institutions to their formation by taking into account the importance of using the information environment in the training process and requiring universities to form related digital competences. Further, the authors, having presented the levels of formation of digital competences among graduates of the considered areas of training, distinguish such levels as basic, universal, general professional and professional levels of development of digital competence (regarding them as indicators of professionalism). Expanding their own conceptual understanding of digital competences, the authors determine the conditions for their formation, analyzing the specifics of the educational process in the current working conditions of educational institutions. Finally, the authors conclude on the importance of providing comprehensive training of future graduates to most effectively solve production problems associated with the digital transformation of the entire set of social processes, and the special importance of digital competences of the profile level to prepare in-demand graduates of the profiles under consideration, and ensure the most effective solution of future professional tasks.
