The article discusses the actual socially significant scientific task of neutralizing the probabilistic manifestation of the stress reaction of the body among higher school students, from the negative impact of which the delayed accumulation effect can destabilize the full-fledged training of the future professionals of the country; a relatively long-term release of adrenaline into the blood can also be detrimental to health and full-fledged fertility — the number of childhood pathologies in Russia is constantly growing. The problematic situation is due to the fact that students are always stressed when studying at the university, this is an objective fact. At the same time, the scientific research, embodied in a variety of methods, has not become a “universal panacea” to significantly reduce the impact of stress. Further development of new modernized methods should serve as a volumetric cumulative preponderance to a favorable situation. The objectives of the work are: to study the state of the issue and determine the most effective means of physical culture that contribute to the prevention and neutralization of students’ educational stress; to develop a comprehensive methodology for the prevention of educational stress in modern higher education by means of physical culture and to test its effectiveness in a pedagogical formative experiment. The theoretical and methodological basis consists mainly of the concepts of modern didactics and educational psychology, and the basics of sports training. The main research methods are: theoretical analysis and generalization; logical processing of information; retrospective analysis; biochemical express method; pedagogical supervision; conversation; qualimetry; testing; mathematical statistics; pedagogical experiment. A retrospective analysis of the dominant motor activity of the best university graduates in 2018—2022 by the Brave-Pearson correlation analysis revealed the significance of sports games (r = 0,82). The developed complex emotionally saturated exercise with a basketball with the use of cognitive tasks according to the data of biochemical express diagnostics of sugar in the urine significantly has reduced the impact of the stress factor on students. At the same time, the rating according to the Moodle system has significantly increased, and most importantly, the number of absences from classes according to the criterion “number of absences / illness” has decreased. This testifies to the relevance of the desired means and criteria for preventive effects.
