Annotation:

Increasing the importance of communication knowledge and varieties of communication channels in the conditions of total digitalization of modern society actualizes the interest of the scientific pedagogical community in the problem of studying the role of the teacher-producer in the higher education system. The authors present the results of an analysis of pedagogical theory and practice, demonstrating the multidimensionality of this problem, its significance not only for creative universities and the sphere of show business, but also for a wider range of training of highly qualified personnel requiring a high level of communicative culture. A generalization of the results obtained allowed the authors to state lack of attempt to study the role of a teacher-producer in organizing the process of pedagogical interaction in an economics university. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of the identified problem area and identification of the functions of pedagogical production necessary for the development of communicative culture among students of economic universities in the context of digitalization. The study examined the theoretical and practical aspects of increasing the role of communicative interaction between subjects of the educational process using the example of future workers in the financial and economic sphere. A sociological survey of students and teachers of economic faculties of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Astrakhan State University and State Social and Humanitarian University (Kolomna) was carried out on the problem of studying the role of a teacher-producer in the higher education system, conducted in an online format. The obtained empirical data allowed us to state the relevance of the role of a teacher-producer in an economics university. The theoretical and practical results of the study made it possible to identify the functions of pedagogical production in an economics university, which are necessary to increase the level of communicative culture of future workers in the financial and economic sphere in the context of digitalization.
