Annotation:

This article analyzes virtual (VR) and augmented (AR) reality. The role of virtual reality in the modern world is analyzed and the influence of VR and AR on business, the economy and various modern organizations is explored. The introduction of VR in tourism and the hotel industry is considered. Statistical data on the use of AR and VR in a company was collected and analyzed. It is shown that these technologies are capable of “transporting” a person to absolutely any place, designing a situation in which absolutely every person can find themselves. Various directions for using VR and AR are given. VR and AR can be useful in many areas of life and business. The use of VR and AR technologies can lead to significant benefits in various sectors of the economy. VR and AR technologies are playing an increasingly significant role in industry. They help businesses improve operational efficiency and optimize production processes. The spread of VR and AR in the field of tourism is shown; e.g. virtual excursions and virtual travels. It is concluded that VR has enormous business potential and can bring significant benefits to companies in various industries. Recommendations are given to achieve success in using VR or AR in business, companies should carefully examine their goals and required investments, and consider the limitations and possible risks associated with this technology.
