This article presents a historical and pedagogical
analysis of the goals of schoolchildren’s vocational training
within the educational paradigm of Soviet Russia in the first
third of the 20th century. The analysis is methodologically
based on a systemic and historical-chronological approach.
The relevance of the problem outlined in the article is justified by the renewed interest of the state and society in schoolchildren’s
vocational training. An analysis of a range of scientific
sources revealed the existence of a sufficient volume of theoretical
and practical research on the issue of schoolchildren’s
vocational training. However, it was revealed that the issue
of schoolchildren’s vocational training within the educational
paradigm of Soviet Russia in the first third of the 20th century
remains understudied.
The aim of this article is to identify and theoretically
substantiate the conceptual foundations of the goal-setting
mechanism for schoolchildren’s vocational training within
the educational paradigm of Soviet Russia in the first third
of the 20th century. It is revealed that during the historical period
under consideration, schoolchildren’s vocational training was
carried out in three forms: during vocational classes, outside
of school hours, and through socially useful work. A theoretical
study of the objectives of schoolchildren’s vocational training
within the educational paradigm of Soviet Russia in the first
third of the 20th century has provided grounds for asserting that
the objectives of schoolchildren’s vocational training in Soviet
Russia in the first third of the 20th century were formulated
by scholars and educators in three vectors: general educational,
ideological, and comprehensive development of the child’s
personality. The prognostic potential of the historical experience
of schoolchildren’s vocational training in Soviet Russia
in the first third of the 20th century is examined.
The scientific significance of the study lies in the fact that
for the first time, the objectives of schoolchildren’s vocational
training within the educational paradigm of Soviet Russia
in the first third of the 20th century have been identified,
and directions for improving schoolchildren’s vocational training
in the present stage have been formulated through the prism
of the historical experience of Soviet Russia in the first third
of the 20th century. Theoretical significance of the study: expanded
understanding of the objectives of schoolchildren’s vocational
training in Soviet Russia in the first third of the 20th century;
identified mechanisms for goal-setting in schoolchildren’s vocational
training within the educational paradigm of Soviet Russia
in the first third of the 20th century; A systematic historical
and pedagogical study of a body of primary sources was conducted,
which allows us to identify the positive experience of Soviet
Russia in organizing vocational training for schoolchildren
during the first third of the 20th century. The practical significance
of this study lies in the potential application of the obtained
results in improving the conceptual foundations of vocational
training for schoolchildren today. Furthermore, the factual data
presented in the article can be used in the research and educational
activities of teachers and students. |
