Annotation: The article examines the development of aesthetic culture among future music teachers within instrumental performance training, which has become particularly relevant amid the renewal of federal educational standards and the digitalization of arts education. An analysis of contemporary studies shows that the aesthetic component of teacher training remains insufficiently explored, highlighting the need for a deeper and more systematic investigation. The research is based on modern scholarly publications, federal educational standards, academic programs, and statistical data from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia and VCIOM. The methodological framework includes theoretical and comparative analysis, examination of regulatory documents, and interpretation of statistical data. The paper outlines the essence of future music teachers` aesthetic culture, identifies its core components, and describes the specifics of its development within performance training. It analyses pedagogical conditions, characteristics of the educational environment, and methods and technologies that support the development of value-based, cognitive, emotional-sensory, and creative aspects of aesthetic culture. The study reveals key challenges, including the lack of a comprehensive methodological framework and the insufficient representation of aesthetic components in the educational process. A step-by-step model for developing aesthetic culture and the integration of aesthetic criteria into the evaluation system of teacher training are proposed as potential solutions. Effective development of aesthetic culture among future music teachers requires a well-designed, step-by-step performance training process and an aesthetically rich educational environment. The proposed model and recommendations can be practically applied in updating curricula, improving performance training, and enhancing the system of evaluating professional outcomes.
