A STUDY ON TRADITIONAL TEACHING METHODS OF CHINESE INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE IN ART EDUCATION

Annotation: In the context of globalization, the teaching methods of traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage in arts education lack systematic review and in-depth research, as well as cross-cultural Sino-Russian comparisons focusing on practice. This study aims to compare the teaching methods of traditional intangible cultural heritage in arts education in China and Russia, identifying the characteristics and core values of Chinese intangible cultural heritage teaching methods. The research hypothesizes that combining China’s personalized teaching methods, which emphasize experience, with Russia’s mature and systematic advantages can solve key issues in cultural heritage transmission. This study employs methods such as systematic analysis, literature review of recent core achievements in China and Russia, comparative research, and modeling to clarify the two-stage transfer logic of skill acquisition and cultural immersion, filling a gap in crosscultural research. It constructs a three-dimensional optimization model of “differentiated standardization + digitalization + teacher training” to address practical problems such as “transmitting skills but not the soul” and the imbalance between scale and quality. The research results are applicable to art education, intangible cultural heritage protection, and cross-border cultural exchange between China and Russia. The limitation of this study is that the experiences of China and Russia are relatively general; future research will delve deeper into the comparison of specific intangible cultural heritage categories to expand the research dimensions.
