The article discusses the problem of training specialists
in the field of transport system management who have
the necessary programming skills to solve a wide range of practical
tasks. The relevance of the study is due to the need to train
qualified specialists who can develop and implement software
for solving transport system management tasks, which is a key
factor in improving the efficiency, safety, and competitiveness
of the transport industry. The goal of this work is to develop a new methodology for
teaching students the basics of programming that is focused on
the specific requirements of transport system management. Unlike
traditional approaches that focus on learning syntax and abstract
algorithms, this methodology emphasizes the application of programming
to solve specific problems in the field of transport
system management. These problems include modeling traffic
flows, developing routing algorithms, optimizing public transport
schedules, analyzing data from transport sensors and monitoring
systems, and developing automated traffic management systems.
The methodology includes a modular approach to studying
the material, which allows the course content to be adapted
to the different levels of students’ training and the specifics
of their future professional activities. Each module focuses
on a specific task of transport systems management and includes
a theoretical part, practical assignments, and project work.
As part of the experimental verification of the effectiveness
of the developed methodology, a pedagogical
experiment was conducted with two groups of students:
an experimental group that studied using the proposed
methodology, and a control group that studied using
the traditional program. The results of the experiment showed
a significant advantage of the experimental group students
in solving practical problems of transport system management.
There was a deeper understanding of algorithms,
a more effective application of programming to solve realworld
problems, and a higher level of motivation to learn
the subject. |
