The article substantiates the methodological foundations
for forming the sectoral identity of future specialists in
professional education within the framework of Specialty 5.8.7
(Methodology and technology of vocational education). Sectoral
identity is interpreted as a stable self-determination of learners
in relation to a professional and sectoral community, acceptance
of its normative and value framework, professional meanings
and requirements, as well as readiness to act in accordance
with the logic of professional activity and sectoral responsibility.
It is demonstrated that sectoral identity cannot be formed as
an add-on to the curriculum or reduced to isolated educational
or declarative activities; instead, it requires holistic design
of the educational environment as a space for socialization, professional
formation, and personal development of future specialists. The study identifies key methodological foundations of sectoral
identity formation, including: an environmental approach
that integrates material-spatial, social-organizational, and psycho-
didactic dimensions of the educational environment; valuemeaningful
support of training aimed at understanding
the social significance, public mission, and professional responsibility
of sectoral labor; mentoring as a mechanism of personal
and professional socialization and identification, provided that
it operates within an ethical framework emphasizing support
for conscious choice and rejection of imposed trajectories; project-
based and service-learning formats as forms of experiential
acquisition of professional roles, collective responsibility,
and socially significant outcomes under conditions of authentic
demand, partnership, and mandatory reflection; and consideration
of the dynamic nature of identity development and the risks
of distortion caused by formalization of educational practices.
The result of the research is an integrative model of methodological
foundations for forming sectoral identity, which can be
applied in the design of educational programs, mentoring systems,
and project-based modules, as well as in developing technologies
to prevent formalism and pseudo-identity in professional education. |
