The article is an empirical reflection on the problem
of integrating the psychological, pedagogical and personal
resources of specialists engaged in professional activities
in the system of state support for childhood. The research focuses
on establishing the characteristics of pedagogical empathy
and resilience among specialists in the field of social orphanhood
with various age and seniority characteristics as professionally
important qualities. In conditions of chronic emotional
stress and secondary traumatization inherent in working with
orphans and children left without parental care, substitute pa-
rents, graduates of organizations for orphans and foster families,
these constructs are considered not as optional, but as
imperative
components of professional skills. The scientific no-
velty of the work consists in considering pedagogical empathy
and resilience as professionally important qualities of a specialist’s
personality in the system of state support for childhood.
The necessity to develop resilience as an internal resource
of professional activity of specialists in the field of social
orphanhood is confirmed. The interrelationships of age
and seniority characteristics of pedagogical empathy and resi-
lience in the context of a resource-based approach to professional
activity are established. The practical significance
of the research lies in the creation and implementation
of a holistic resource-based model for supporting the professional
activities of specialists in the field of social orphanhood,
both at the stage of training and in the process of professional
activity. The implementation of the research findings into practice
will contribute not only to the preservation of mental health,
competence, and pedagogical effectiveness of the specialists
themselves, but also, ultimately, to improving the effectiveness
of the entire system of state support for childhood. |
