PERIODIZATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCE IN THE NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION (ON THE EXAMPLE OF DISSERTATION RESEARCH)

Annotation: This article presents a structured chronology of the development of pedagogical thought in the Internal Troops and the Rosguard from the mid-20th century to the present time (1959-2025). Special attention is given to the role of renowned educators who have significantly influenced the development of pedagogical science in the military. The purpose of this article is to define and substantiate the periodization of the development of pedagogical science in the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation in the second half of the 20th century and the early 21st century (based on dissertation research). The subject of the study is the periodization of the development of dissertation research in pedagogy in the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. The scientific novelty lies in the application of two periodization criteria. This study takes into account both macropolitical and organizational transformations in the country and the military (changes of the state system, departmental reorganizations), as well as changes in pedagogical knowledge as a result of dissertation research. The article is primarily intended for specialists in the field of the history of pedagogy of the law enforcement forces. In the course of the study, 340 dissertations and abstracts on pedagogical issues in the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation were analyzed. Empirical methods (analysis of archival documents and individual interviews with participants in the events) and theoretical methods (chronological and comparative historical me- thods) were used. The results demonstrate that the presented periodization is an important tool for historical analysis and understanding the development of pedagogical science in the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. They have particular practical significance for comprehending the history of the development of dissertation research on pedagogy conducted in the Internal Troops and the Rosguard.
