This article explores the methods of teaching
modern
Chinese literature in Russian universities, taking into
account linguistic features and cultural differences between China
and Russia. First, we analyzed several criteria for selecting
fiction texts as teaching materials. Texts suitable for teaching
reading Chinese literature must meet the requirements of accessibility,
modernity and have information potential that allows
them to be compared with Russian texts. Based on a literature
review and analysis of specific examples from teaching practice,
the three most important methods are highlighted: translation
of cultural characteristics, text simplification and cross-cultural
comparison. The theoretical part of the article reviews the latest
achievements of Russian scientists in the field of intercultural education
and teaching Chinese, and emphasizes their guiding significance
for understanding Chinese-Russian literary exchange.
In the practical part, based on experiential learning, we came up
with a sequence of steps while working with the text: introduction
— intensive reading — discussion — result — assessment,
suitable for students of the Chinese language faculty of a linguistic
university. To check the effectiveness of this sequence of working
with the text and techniques of teaching reading, we organized
a control pedagogical experiment, the results of which were positive. An example of a pedagogical case based on reading Lu
Xin’s “Diary of a Madman” is also presented. In the end, we can
conclude that these techniques not only develop students’ intercultural
understanding of the text, but also improve their literary
and critical skills and language capabilities. |
