In the context of the globalization of legal practice,
there is an increasing demand for specialists proficient in professional
intercultural communication. The aim of this study is to
theoretically substantiate and practically test a system of gaming
technologies designed to enhance the effectiveness of foreign language
education for students in legal disciplines. The scientific novelty lies in specifying the concept of game-based technologies
in legal foreign language education and in the development and
experimental verification of the effectiveness of foreign language
professionally-oriented games used during practical foreign language
classes for future prosecutors. The article confirms that
the application of flexible teaching methods allows for the adaptation
of techniques to various areas of law and levels of preparedness.
The introduction of game-based forms of education
enhances student motivation and engagement, facilitates the solid
acquisition of legal vocabulary and concepts in a foreign language,
develops communication skills, argumentation, and teamwork,
and improves the ability to apply legal norms in an intercultural
context. The authors conclude that the developed set of professionally-
oriented games helps students overcome difficulties in learning
a foreign language, enhances their level of foreign language
professional communicative competence, internal motivation,
and effective mastery of professional material. Considerable attention
in this work is given to the practical application of the results:
the proposed set of professionally-oriented games can be directly
integrated into the educational process of law universities, used
in the development of educational publications, methodological
recommendations, and in the system of professional development
for foreign language instructors in the field of jurisprudence. |
