The issue of professional mobility is one
of the central problems of labor market development for any
economy that has entered the post-industrial phase. The most
significant factors for professional mobility at the individual
employee level are economic factors that encourage him to
search for optimal professional growth trajectories. The effect
of other factors also takes place, but it is latent due
to the absence of a direct recipient of market signals.
This article contains a study of the impact of demography
on occupational mobility as one of the side factors that cannot
be taken into account by direct participants in the labor market.
The paper also investigates socio-demographic aspects that have
the most significant impact on the current professional mobility
of employees and aspects that are not so significant currently
directly for employees, but can be actualized through planning
changes in the structure of the workforce on the part of employers.
Special attention is paid to how the socio-demographic context
of the labor market development creates a trend towards
difficult-to-register planning of professional mobility of labor
market participants (schoolchildren, students, foreign citizens
planning to find employment in Russia in the future). The processes
of professional mobility and socio-demographic processes
are compared, and conclusions are drawn about the qualitative
correspondences of these processes.
The most significant manifestations of the influence
of socio-demographic trends characteristic of the activities of domestic companies are investigated and opportunities
for maximizing potential and minimizing their negative economic
consequences are identified. |
