The author of the article covers the basics of the functioning of marketing distribution channels at the market of insurance products. The author systematizes the structure of functioning marketing channels of the distribution of insurance products; he identifies and systematizes its component parts. The article deals with the peculiarities of marketing flows of distribution of insurance products. The author analyzes the global experience of marketing distribution channels development; he identifies priority areas of development in the Russian market of insurance products. There is information on the existing channels of distribution of insurance products in the Russian market. The author identifies and describes the basic components and their features.
