Theoretical bases of the professional personality orientation

The article analyzes the contribution of domestic and foreign researchers in the study of the definitions «personal orientation», «personal professional orientation», «personal pedagogical orientation». The analysis allowed distinguishing the general and special in the essence definition of these terms, as well as their correlation. Thus, such terms as «personal orientation», «professional orientation of the personality» are considered by scientists as a set of requirements, values, interests, abilities, aspirations, aims, which define activity motivation and behavior of the individual. Pedagogical orientation is revealed as motivation to professional activity, orientation of pupil’s personality and full development.
