Formation of labor potential as the main tool for ensuring favorable investment climate of industrial enterprises of the forestry (on the example of the Komi Republic)

Annotation: Currently, the forest industry enterprises of the region having significant potential for their own development have faced with a problem related to the shortage of highly skilled professionals of mass occupations, as well as the high-class experts. In this regard, the article highlights the issues of management of the of labor potential development of the forestry industrial companies of the Republic in order to identify the competitive opportunities and strategic advantages. The study conducted resulted in identifying the skill level of employees of industrial enterprises of the industry, as well as the reasons constraining professional development of the staff. Mechanisms affecting fulfillment of the set goals of the region with regard to the interests and objectives of regional development are proposed.
