Annotation:

The article examines the essence of linguistic game in the communicative competence of the higher school students, analyzes the issues of development of the linguistic identity of future professionals. Peculiarities of the foreign language teaching are presented with regard to the communicative competence of students in the modern environment. Linguistic game serves as the object of the lingua-didactic analysis. The content of this linguistic phenomenon is revealed in terms of successful communication. The authors expend the concept of communicative competence of students. The article provides the author’s point of view on understanding of communicative behavior of the addressee and the addresser. The article includes analysis of texts that provides integral presentation of extra-linguistic problems of verbal communication.
