ASSESSMENT OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION THROUGH ESTABLISHING OF REGIONAL CLUSTERS

The article investigates the main aspects of cluster analysis, and studies it as an independent method of multivariate analysis. The paper conducted a study that allows stating that multidimensional description is often emerged in the process of analysis of socio-economic phenomena and development of forecasts. In this regard, the analysis method under consideration serves as the quantitative tool for making researches of the major socio-economic processes, which can be described only when huge amount of properties are available. The article uses the method under consideration, which is useful for designing the region development program for the short-term period as it allows analyzing the impact of certain factors on the balanced socio-economic development of the region.
