Annotation:

The article examines the problems of the modern process of globalization, consequences and prospects of political and social and economic development for the developed and developing countries. The work presents theoretical material for the issue under consideration, as well as provides statistical data. The concept of the process of globalization is studied, both positive, and negative consequences of the process for the world economy are investigated. The rating of the poorest Third World countries for 2016 is presented. Tendencies and forecasts for 2017 in the field of unemployment for the developed and developing countries are examined. Consequences of globalization and the prospects of development in the conditions of this process have been also studied relative to Russia.
