IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL NORMS ON PROHIBITION OF PROSTITUTION IN THE CRIMINAL CODE

The conventional mechanism of establishing the responsibility for prostitution is examined in the article. Additionally, the problem of relations of the international norms and the Russian criminal Code norms corresponding to them and the question of compliance of the implementing norms of the Criminal Code with the original Treaty norms are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the international legal prohibition of child prostitution and the issue reflecting these restrictions in the national criminal legislation. As a result of scientific research, the author comes to the conclusion of the necessity for changing the Russian criminal Code norms and proposed her own revision of Art. 241 of the Russian criminal Code.
