TO THE QUESTION OF THE THEORY OF FORENSICS

The article draws attention to a certain need to clarify some provisions of the general theory of criminology, given the possibility of improving and replenishing scientific knowledge. In particular, there are doubts about the use of the concept of evidence as objects of study by their science of forensics. Alternative judgments on the subject are being offered. Particular attention is drawn to the fact that the category of evidence is the subject of scientific and practical research of the science of criminal procedure law and the theory of forensics is mediated. In addition, some analysis of the category of regularity, its relevance to all forensic objects of the study is not part of. Thus, analyzing the concept of “regularity„ we can state that it has to do only with dynamic processes: movement, emergence, development, etc. Some issues of the structure of the general theory of criminology today, the possibility and necessity of clarification, ordering and generalization of the content and construction of theoretical and methodological provisions of forensic science are also discussed. It is concluded that with different approaches to this issue it is time to clarify, arrange and generalize the content and construction of theoretical and methodological provisions of forensic science. Probably, we need to agree, fully or partially, with proposals of some authors, who suppose that the most suitable content of the general theory of forensic science are scientific and methodological fundamentals, as well as the system of special forensic theories (teachings).
