Annotation:

The article shows the results of using business games in practical classes with cadets during the formative experiment. The analysis of the reports of the leading methodologists of military command universities, as well as the generalization of the best pedagogical experience of the country’s military universities, allowed us to conclude that such a method as a business game used in practical and group classes increases the effectiveness of the educational process. In the formation of competence in the use of information technology in the decision-making process, the business game is one of the main methods used to form the structural components of competence, knowledge in the field of information technology, decision-making, it also allows you to form managerial skills, public speaking skills and develops creative and analytical abilities. The article provides examples of created business games that are used in the formation of competence in the application of information technologies in the decision-making process at different stages of decision-making. Effective knowledge, skills and abilities in the use of information technology in decision-making indicate a strong assimilation of certain knowledge, skills and abilities at each stage of decision-making. In the use of information technologies in the decisionmaking process, cadets develop motivational-value, informationtechnology, organizational-reflexive and creative components of competence. Each business game, applied at its own decision-making stage, allows you to form these components. The article reflects the effectiveness of using this method in the classroom, shows comparative data on the formation of competence in the use of information technologies in the decisionmaking process in experimental and control groups. The conditions for organizing and conducting business games in the classroom are shown.
