Annotation:

In the article, according to the requirements of the federal state educational standard (FSES VO 3++) and in order to implement the competence-activity paradigm of training, an approach to the organization of the educational process is considered based on the correlation between the competences being formed and the main labor functions included in the professional standard of the future specialist, as well as the requirements for graduates in the labor market. The list, content and indicators of achieving general professional and professional competences in the direction of training 02.03.03 Mathematical support and administration of information systems in the field of programming of the profile Information systems and databases have been determined in accordance with the types of tasks to be solved and professional standards in the field of programming. Based on the analysis of the essence of each competence and the definition of the corresponding indicators, the correlation between the competences formed and the content of the studied disciplines with professional standards and labor market requirements, a model of the process of training students in this direction is described. The analysis of the content of each of the disciplines and the scheme of their sequential study made it possible to substantiate the continuity of the process of training bachelors in the field of programming. As a result, the need for a continuous model of the process of forming students’ competences in the field of programming is shown in accordance with the sequence of studying the disciplines of the programming cycle in the indicated direction of training proposed by the authors. An analysis of the employment of graduates and a survey conducted among students and employers made it possible to conclude about the effectiveness of the approach described by the authors to the process of forming professional competences in the field of programming in future specialists, taking into account the requirements of the labor market and regulatory documentation.
