ECONOMIC AND LEGAL CULTURE AS A LEGAL SOCIALIZATION FACTOR OF SPORTS UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: METHODOLOGICAL GUIDELINES

Annotation:

The article substantiates the need to identify sports university students’ legal socialization factors and to develop methodological guidelines for this problem. The concept of “sports university students’ legal socialization” is clarified in the article. The essence of the phenomenon under study is also determined here. Economic and legal culture substantiation as a priority factor of sports university students’ legal socialization is given: the very concept of “socialization” is the introduction of an individual to the culture of society. The authors consider the following: the integrative nature of culture accumulating economic and legal culture content; rapid development of economic and legal relations in the field of sports and the sports industry; the need to train highly qualified bachelors with a high level of economic and legal culture, able to solve the problems of modernization and improvement of the quality characteristics of economic and legal relations system in sports. It is shown that the economic and legal culture is integrative in nature and is based on the combination of two types of culture related to modern socio-economic and legal relations in the field of physical culture and sports. The article presents a methodological idea, substantiating the position that an integrative-developing approach is a productive basis for revealing economic and legal culture content as a factor of sports university students’ legal socialization. A significant theoretical result is the identification and substantiation of the following principles of the integrative-developing approach to the pedagogical problem under the study: integration, integrity and development. The methodological grounds for promoting the students’ legal socialization are outlined: the organic connection of science and practice; the integration of educational and extracurricular activities, scientific and educational activities; intra-subject, inter-subject and meta-subject integration; a set of innovative methods and techniques for economic and legal culture formation use, collectively aimed at mastering legal knowledge system in the field of physical culture and sports, a high level of legal consciousness. A number of conclusions are made on leveling the problem of sports university students’ legal socialization.
