The article presents the content of the correctional and developmental program based on boccia and developed for younger schoolchildren with cerebral palsy. The basis of the program consists of exercises aimed at teaching technical and tactical actions — “jack ball run”, “blocking”, “pumpkin”, “ricochet”, “pyramid” and others, as well as exercises of correctional and developmental orientation (breathing exercises, exercises to relieve tension from the eyes, elements of self-massage, posture exercises, relaxation exercises) used in the course of classes. The basic principles and pedagogical conditions of the program implementation are revealed, examples of specific exercises are given, and practical recommendations for teachers are given. A prerequisite for conducting classes with children with cerebral palsy is the individualization of the learning process, reliance on preserved tactile-muscular and visual-kinetic analyzer, as well as maintaining an emotional background throughout the lesson. A distinctive feature of the program is its correctional and developmental orientation. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated using techniques adapted to the game of boccia (“Hit the white line”, “Hit the ball in the hoop”, “Throw the ball to the jackball”, “Who is closer?”, “Bowling”). The practical application of the boccia game allowed us to obtain positive changes in the indicators characterizing the ability to differentiate muscle efforts in space and time, in the development of target accuracy in schoolchildren with cerebral palsy, in the directed development of coordination abilities in students. The data obtained indicate the positive impact of the experimental program on the intellectual development of students with cerebral palsy, the improvement of indicators for the differentiation of efforts when performing motor actions with a ball, which proves the correctional and developmental orientation of classes.
