The article studies the development of soft skills
as one of the most important conditions for professional
self-realization of a personality. The study examines the mechanisms
that contribute to the formation of soft skills among
future specialists and their impact on the process of professional
self-realization, including adaptation to the labor
market and career growth. The study analyzes the specifics
of the development of communication skills in hybrid work,
reveals the role of emotional intelligence in building effective
working relationships, identifies the importance of stress tolerance
and adaptability in a highly uncertain business environment,
and studies the impact of leadership skills on career
advancement in team projects.
At the same time, special attention is paid to the analysis
of the industry specifics of the formation of soft skills
in the service sector, where interpersonal interaction is one
of the key elements of professional activity. The article discusses
modern methods for diagnosing the level of development
of non-professional skills, including standardized tests
for assessing emotional intelligence, scales for self-assessment
of communicative competence, methods for expert assessment
of stress tolerance and tools for measuring the adaptive potential
of a personality.
The conclusions substantiate the need to include programs
for the development of supra-professional abilities
in the higher education system and corporate training.
The practical significance lies in creation of a comprehensive
training program for the development of soft skills for undergraduates
in the areas of hospitality and tourism, the development
of methods for an objective assessment of the level
of development of supra-professional competencies, the preparation
of recommendations for universities on the integration
of the soft skills module into the curriculum, as well as the formation
of corporate mentoring programs for young professionals.
The proposed solutions will increase the competitiveness
of graduates in the labor market and accelerate the time frame
for their professional adaptation.
The limitation of the study is due to the small sample (30 students)
and the short-term follow-up (8 weeks). The direction
of future research is to study the long-term effects of soft skills
development on career growth and professional mobility. |
