The relevance of this article is due to the modern
challenges facing universities, including pedagogical ones.
Special attention is paid to their social mission, which, along
with educational and research functions, is key in shaping
a modern teacher as a specialist contributing to the progress
of society. The objectives of the article are to analyze
the activities of student scientific associations as a form
of student participation based on joint projects in the implementation
of the social function of the pedagogical university,
as well as scientific and methodological support for these
communities as a fundamental factor contributing to the disclosure
of the scientific potential of students and improving
the overall quality of education for future teachers. To achieve
the set objectives, general theoretical methods were employed,
and materials from scientific publications and examples
of practical experience from Herzen Russian State Pedagogical
University were utilized to provide scientific and methodological
support for joint projects of the student scientific
association within an expanded socio-educational environment.
The analysis revealed that one of the basic aspects
of the student scientific associations’ activities related
to the social function of the pedagogical university is the development
and implementation of joint social projects. Through
participation in joint projects, students get a unique opportunity
to realize their initiatives. This enriches them both personally
and professionally, and also allows them to contribute
to solving socially significant issues. Such projects facilitate
the adaptation of young people in society, form an active civic
position and encourage them to participate in public life.
An analysis of modern research on the experience of scientific
and methodological support for joint student projects has also
determined the rationale for its necessity, which is to create
a favorable environment for the successful implementation
of projects, encourage student initiative, ensure coordination
of actions and maximization of results. |
