The article is dedicated to a comprehensive
study of the principles of organizing formation of civic identity
in youth by means of educational work among students
in the context of transforming value-normative orientations
of modern Russian society. The work presents a thorough
analysis of the phenomenon of civic identity in the context
of youth socio-cultural practices, taking into account contemporary
trends in the development of higher education
and the digitalization of social relations. Special attention
is paid to the study of the content and structural components
of students’ civic culture and their influence on socialization
processes. Based on theoretical and empirical analysis, key
factors in the formation of civic identity in student youth are
systematized and categorized, and pedagogical resources
and mechanisms contributing to constructive civic socialization
are identified. The interrelationship between valueemotional,
cognitive, and activity-based components of civic
identity of the young, their political views, and forms
of civic activity is analyzed. Significant correlations are
revealed between the level of formed civic culture, value
orientations, and readiness to participate in civic practices.
The mechanisms of educational work at the university
and their influence on the formation of students’ civic identity
are examined in detail. An integrative model of civic identity
formation is proposed, including axiological, cognitive,
activity-based, and reflexive components, adapted to the specifics
of various categories of student youth. The necessity
of a differentiated approach to educational work, considering
the generational characteristics of students, is substantiated.
The research results indicate the effectiveness of educational
strategies based on the principles of systematicity,
cultural conformity, and subjectivity, which is of significant
importance for the development of scientifically grounded
approaches to formation of civic identity in youth. |
