The article examines the transformation of the concept
of competitiveness of industrial enterprises. The necessity
of transitioning from static assessment models to dynamic analytical
frameworks is substantiated, emphasizing the enterprise’s
adaptive capabilities, organizational flexibility, and ability to
respond promptly to changes in the external environment. A systematisation
of existing approaches to assessing competitiveness
is carried out, including graphical, factor-based, product-oriented,
operational, integrated, and value-based methods. Their key
limitations are identified, caused by the inconsistency of traditional
tools with modern industrial conditions, including sanctions
restrictions, disruptions in supply chains, transformation
of international value chains, and increased external uncertainty.
Particular attention is given to the impact of foreign economic
instability on the criteria for assessing competitiveness
of industrial enterprises. It is shown that traditional methods
for analysing competitive advantages have limited applicability
under conditions of high uncertainty, sanctions pressure,
and dynamic market fluctuations.
An aggregated factor structure of industrial enterprise
competitiveness is proposed, including operational efficiency,
technological independence, supply chain resilience, digital
maturity, geoeconomic adaptability, and the quality of strategic
management. It is emphasized that competitiveness is determined
not only by achieved results but also by the enterprise’s
ability to rapidly reconfigure resources, business processes,
and organizational mechanisms. The results of the study can
be applied in developing methodologies for assessing the competitiveness
of industrial enterprises in external markets
and in strategic management practices under conditions of economic
instability, enhancing both the relevance and practical
significance of the research. |
