The subject of the work is the study of new trends
in the global economy and their impact on corporate finance.
Special attention is paid to such factors as the development
of business models in the new information economy, such as
digital services, digital currencies, and others. The purpose
of the study is to identify new phenomena and trends in the glo-
bal
economy over the past few decades, which have led
to the development and change of traditional methods and
tools for managing corporate finance. The work uses methods
of description and comparison, causal relationships, systematic
and comparative analysis, and generalization. The author
highlights the problems of reducing the practical relevance
and necessity of adapting and adjusting such classical models
and theories of financial management as the theory of discounted
cash flows, the model for assessing the profitability of financial
assets, the theory of portfolio selection, etc.
As a result of the analysis, the most significant changes and
new trends in the global economy have been considered, which
have had the most significant impact on the evolution of corporate
finance, and the main elements of the introduction of new
practices and methodological changes have been identified.
The author formulates principles and approaches in finance management that have been affected by changes in international
economy, such as the process of budgeting and planning, stresstest
methodologies for risk management systems, IT architecture
of companies, and data collection, processing, and storage.
It should be emphasized that the work is highly theoretical
and practical, as it aims to establish new principles for
managing corporate finances, which will enable companies
and corporations to improve their corporate finance management
systems in line with the new realities and trends
in the global economy. |
