COMPUTER LITERACY AS THE BASIS OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN THE MODERN COMPANIES

The article has presented the issues of evolution of the modern conceptions of the computer literacy and of the role of information systems in resolution of the tasks connected with the knowledge management in the company. Literacy is the ability of a human being to properly orient in the surrounding information flows taking the required information from the environment, accumulating, processing, transferring and properly using it. The article has underlined that the modern information epoch is characterized with the fact that all processes presuppose active application of information systems by a human being that facilitate his orientation in the complicated information flows intersecting each other; that computer literacy is the required component of qualification competence of the modern specialist.
