Annotation:

On the basis of comparative historical and pedagogical analysis the article examines the issues of teachers training in our country. Parallels between the nature and content of the educators training in the past and today are made. Succession is underlined and the possibility of using the experience of the past in modern educational practice is determined. It is noted that the requirements of teachers of the past to the level of readiness of teachers to perform their duties are formulated and summarized in today in terms of competences. The need to strengthen practical component of professional training of future teachers is emphasized, as well as development of their valuable relation to their activities.
