DETERMINATION OF ADDITIONAL ECONOMIC AND NONECONOMIC EFFECTS IN THE PROJECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF RESOURCES OF COAL METHANE

The article presents reasons and procedure of calculation of five additional effects in projects for development of resources of coal methane. The most important problem of methane extraction from the coal layers is their low cost efficiency. Projects of methane production from the coal layers are characterized by high costs and smaller revenue in comparison with projects of gas production on traditional fields. At the same time, in addition to direct economic effects, which directly influence the income and expenses of participants of the projects for development of the gas-containing coal layers, it is possible to identify additional economic as well as noneconomic effects, considering which it is possible to significantly improve performance indicators of these projects.
