| Annotation: | The article identifies and discusses the main types and concepts of MICE-tourism, it is proved that, despite the difficult economic situation, the MICE-industry in Russia is developing confidently. The reason for this is the high return from well-organized business events. It is expressed in the emergence of new business ties, motivation of employees, increasing the company’s image, and ultimately in profit and strengthening of business positions. The appearance in the region of MICE-tourist products, the infrastructure of this type of tourism, tour operators offering such tours, will make it possible in the light of the 2018 World Cup in Volgograd to create a system that facilitates the attraction of investments in the region in the form of persons disposing of economic resources. |
